Threshold Detectors

Spectrum Control produces temperature compensated detectors, which operate from 10 MHz to 2 GHz. Analog/Level Detectors convert a range of RF input powers (typically from -20 dBm to +10 dBm) to a corresponding DC output voltage level.

Threshold Detectors, using an external resistor or threshold voltage, output a TTL compatible signal when the RF level exceeds the preset threshold.

Superior Designs
  • Our circuits contain an internal 50 ohm load providing a desired 50 ohm match.
  • We use Gold Wire and Gold Plated leads which offer lower loss than other types of construction.
Kovar Packaging
  • Our Kovar product housings offer Durability and Resistance to shock and most severe environmental conditions.
  • Kovar also provides a level of integrity not found in cheap MMIC designs.
Quality Assurance
  • Hermetic sealing in nitrogen is standard on all packages to protect against corrosion and oxidation in extreme environments.
  • We perform functional testing on 100% of our parts before shipment.
Integrated Solutions
  • Drop in replacements on most major manufacturer's standard catalog parts.
  • Performance enhanced parts to replace existing designs are available.
